All events at The Conference Centre are serviced exclusively by our in‑house catering team; external catering vendors are not permitted.


Meet Executive Chef Dale Meek
As the Executive Chef for Catering and Event Services, Chef Dale oversees all culinary operations, menu development and catering experiences at The Conference Centre, as well as off-site catering across the University of Toronto’s St. George campus. His culinary career spans prestigious roles with hotels in Toronto, as well as international positions throughout Europe, the Middle East, across Canada and on a luxury cruise ship. With nearly 30 years of professional experience, he brings global expertise and a passion for elevated dining to every event, from intimate boardroom meetings to large-scale conferences.
Throughout his career, Chef Dale has had the privilege of cooking for numerous celebrities and Heads of State. Today, he brings his passion and dedication to creating delicious food to the University of Toronto, crafting menus that emphasize fresh ingredients, inspired flavours and memorable dining experiences. His approach focuses on delivering first-class cuisine in a conference and event setting, ensuring every guest enjoys a thoughtful, refined and delicious meal that is full of flavour.
Fully Licensed Venue
The Conference Centre is a fully licensed venue. If you would like liquor and bar service at your event, please let us know and we will be happy to arrange that with you.
